Blogger Bio

I’m Andy – born way back in Portsmouth during 1963. I still live on the South Coast, always close to the beach.

I work as a Health & Safety Manager for a regional newspaper in the South of England, covering the many offices we have. I also am the sales administrator there which keeps me busy.

I suffered from Crohn’s for years before getting an upgrade to Ulcerative Colitis. This got worse and worse until in March 2008, “mini-me” was born. I am now the proud owner of a permanent Ileostomy.

Quick Questions

What do you do in your free time?

For leisure I like to sea fish, spend some time down the allotment and spend time with my grandson. Reading a good book is a close fourth favourite with a cold beer near the top. Nothing beats sitting in the garden on a warm summers evening with a book and a beer!

If you were a biscuit, which would you be?

If I was a biscuit ….. I’d be a Rich Tea … perfectly rounded, a little plain, excellent at dunking, and very sweet!

Where would your dream holiday be?

My idea holiday is over in Cyprus. We rent a villa in Oriklini which is miles off the tourist route. Peaceful and relaxing with not a care in the world and that’s just the villagers! We both love the lifestyle so much we have already decided to retire out there.
