When you sign up for Stoma Steps, an account is also created on A Bigger Life website.  This allows you access to the forums used within the app.

Users of the website and the app do so at their own discretion and provide any such personal details requested at their own discretion. What data will the Stoma Steps app collect

We ask for some data at the registration stage that will help us improve our app, but this is not mandatory, and you can use the app without providing the information.  If you agree to help us improve our application, we will  collect data as you progress through the journey stages.  This is the data we will collect:

  • Stoma type
  • The date you reach each journey stage
  • Your recorded mood rating in My Health
  • Questions you have chosen to add in My Health
  • Fluid intake values you record
  • Skin issues you select
  • If you choose to view images of a stoma

This website operates an opt-in email newsletter program, used to inform subscribers about products and services supplied by this website. Users can subscribe through an online automated process should they wish to do so but do so at their own discretion.
