Good day all!
I am a nurse from South Africa, I studied nursing as I have a passion for ostomy and wanted to help others who are going through the same as what I did, I want to make their journey easier and more comfortable.
I have been an ostomate from the age of 15, it’s a big change in your life so the support and understanding is very important, especially the psychological side of coping with a stoma. I want to be able to give advice from a personal point of view as well as clinical.
Once you know there is others out there who have been through a similar journey it makes your acceptance much easier.
What services I can offer
The services I am able to offer in South Africa include the psychological reassurance and guidance as well as training on how to use all the different products. This will help to make sure each individual uses the correct product for their stoma.
